A Tesla owner’s referral link, kept honest.

Tesla Treats is run by a Tesla owner, and the referral code used across this site is the one attached to that owner’s Tesla account. It is a live, valid code — not scraped from a forum, not recycled from an expired campaign, and not a placeholder.

The site was built after ordering a car and finding that almost every result for “Tesla referral code” was either a dead link, an offer from a previous campaign, or a page that would not say which country it applied to. Since the benefit differs by market and changes several times a year, that is not a small detail — it is the whole answer.

This is a personal site, not a business. There is no newsletter, no sign-up, no email capture and no advertising.

Every regional page carries a “checked against tesla.com” badge. That badge means these checks are performed on a recurring basis, not once at launch:

• The referral link is opened on the correct country version of tesla.com and confirmed still active.
• The benefit shown by Tesla for each model is recorded exactly as worded.
• The screenshot published alongside the claim is recaptured whenever the offer changes.
• Tesla’s Refer and Earn terms for that market are re-read for eligibility changes.

Tesla’s Refer and Earn programme is two-sided. When someone orders a qualifying vehicle through a referral link:

• The buyer receives whatever benefit Tesla is offering in their market — currently Supercharging credit in the UK and Ireland. Buyer benefits expire 12 months after the grant date.
• The referring owner receives a referrer benefit, which Tesla adds as Supercharging credits or Tesla Credits depending on the vehicle bought.

The buyer pays exactly the same price either way. Tesla funds both sides; nothing is deducted from the vehicle price to pay the referrer. That is why using a referral link is strictly better for a first-time buyer than not using one.

What the owner of this site gets

To be completely explicit: the owner of this site receives a benefit from Tesla when you order through these links. Tesla does not publish the value of a referrer benefit in advance, and it varies by market and by which vehicle was bought, so no honest figure can be quoted here. What Tesla does state in its Refer and Earn terms is the shape of it:

• It arrives as Supercharging credits or Tesla Credits, never cash.
• It shows as “pending” in the Tesla app until the grant date, then becomes usable.
• Each referrer benefit expires 12 months after the grant date.
• It is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Tesla Credits can be spent on Supercharging, service, upgrades and the Tesla Shop — not on subscriptions such as Premium Connectivity.

There is also a cap worth knowing about as a buyer: Tesla allows a maximum of 10 referrer benefits per calendar year per account, and once an owner reaches that limit, buyers ordering through their link stop receiving buyer benefits as well. Keeping an eye on that is part of why the links here are rechecked rather than posted once and forgotten.
