What a Tesla referral code actually does
A Tesla referral code is a unique identifier attached to an existing owner’s account. When a first-time buyer starts an order from that owner’s referral link, Tesla awards the buyer a benefit — currently Supercharging credit in the UK and Ireland — and separately awards the owner referral credits.
The important mechanical detail, and the one most people get wrong: there is no code to type in. The referral attaches to your browsing session the moment you open the link, so the order has to begin from that page. If you configure a car first and then go looking for a promo box at checkout, you will not find one.

Eligibility is the same everywhere: the buyer must never have owned a qualifying Tesla product. Existing owners buying a second car do not receive the buyer benefit, though their own referral link still earns them credits when someone else uses it.
What the referring owner gets
This site supplies a working referral code belonging to a Tesla owner, and Tesla pays that owner a referrer benefit when an eligible order completes. Per Tesla’s own terms, the referrer benefit is added as Supercharging credits or Tesla Credits depending on which vehicle was bought, shows as “pending” in the Tesla app until the grant date, and expires 12 months later. It cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
Tesla does not publish the value in advance, so neither can this site — it varies by market and vehicle. What matters for you is that it is funded entirely by Tesla and changes nothing about your price. One caveat worth knowing: Tesla caps referrer benefits at 10 per calendar year, and once an owner hits that cap, buyers using their link stop receiving buyer benefits too.
